"Easy Life Hacks That You Should Be Learning This Year To Improve Your Home Sweet Home"

At times, we spend our money on unnecessary items to improve your home, which we thought could be useful, or because we believe the items are cheap and can be purchased then used later. But what if i say you do not need to spend on any single cents to make things usable and working again with items available just laying around your home? It sounds impossible but let’s see what we can do!

Tips #1

Remove candle wax from the furniture with ice cubes

If your cat or dog ever knocks over a melted candle wax beside your furniture, do not be panic and try to scrape it off. Instead, you can fill a plastic bag with ice cubes, place it over the wax and let it sit for a few minutes. Once the wax has thoroughly cooled down as well hardened, you can easily pick it up without ruining your furniture. Phew! That was close to spending thousands on changing a new set.

Tips #2

Fix a hole in a window screen using clear nail polish

A hole in your window renders or screen doors, and the whole thing is practically useless. However, if you ask for your mom’s nail polish politely and tell her we could solve the problem, it’s all sorted out. So, by using a swipe of clear (not glittered ones) nail polish, go over the nick and wait for it to dry. That’s all. You’re good to go!

Tips #3

Clean your blender with dish soap

You just finished making your mango smoothie, and it’s time to clean up the blender (the worst part). But the worst part is thinking of how you’re going to be sticking your hand into the pitcher and hoping not to get a cut. However, some genius had come up with an idea which makes cleaning more straightforward than ever with a few drops of dish soap into the machine along with two cups of warm water. Then, blend away and rinse it out.

Tips #4

Add some paper to the bottom of the trash bag to keep liquids from leaking

As you can see from the above diagram, the food has leftover liquid as well. But what if it leaks out of your trash bag because there’s a little hole at the bottom? Here’s what you should do. Add some recycled paper or newspaper at the bottom of the first. By doing that, it gets to catch and absorb all the liquid, which save all the mess you might create.

Tips #5

Have a piece of masking tape on your wall before nailing

You just bought a canvas and thought of hanging it up on the wall, but it’s night time, and you’re afraid of all the noise it’s going to create from hammering and disturb your neighbour. Well, here’s what you can do. Put a small piece of masking tape over the area where you’ll be placing your nail. Then, when you nail into the plaster, it offers a better soundproof, unlikely to flake, spread dust as well even prevent future cracks down the line.

Tips #6

Getting crayon marks off the wall using a hairdryer

This one goes out to all the mommies and daddies. When kids are young, they assume the blank wall at your home is just like a piece of paper but much bigger. So they start crafting all these crazy fantasies from their imagination using crayons while you might be busy behind the kitchen or washing your car. Once you’ve seen the insane artwork, you started going all crazy thinking of the days when both have to spend repainting those walls. But you can save it! Just heat the sketched part of the wall for a few seconds or until the crayon’s wax soften. Later on, wipe it away with a soft cloth.

Tips #7

Mark your keys to never get them to confuse

How could you possibly differentiate your house keys, office keys, car keys, and mail keys when they all look so similar to each other? Well, there’s a list of things you could do:

  • Paint your keys

  • Stick with different washi tape designs

  • Place with different colour dot stickers on each key

  • Apply different colour nail polish

Using these few different techniques, you will never have to waste time trying out every single key to unlock your front door anymore.

Tips #8

Use towel-wrapped tongs to clean your binds

You want to clean your binds but by using feather duster but it makes you always want to sneeze. So what is a better yet effective alternative to doing so? Well, reuse your old dish towel and wrap them around a pair of tongs and secure them with rubber bands. That is all; you just created an invention for free without spending anything!
